Wow! Summer is coming to an end (at least in retail) and Fall is fast on the horizon. Garden Dance is getting new fall goods daily, including the coolest leather jackets ever. They are motorcycle style, really soft and reasonably priced (what?). Stop on by to pick one up before they're gone. The Garden Dancers are getting dibs on them, so you have to make your move... ALL the summer clothes are on sale - 30 - 50% off. We need to move these puppies to make room. Those of you who shop in Garden Dance know I'm serious when I tell you that we a TON of fall stuff coming and only so much room. Whoops! I did it again....
The important announcement I need to make is that raindance is finally open! It really is beautiful and we are carrying really great clothes for men. Are you tired of looking at your man in that same old thing? We can fix you both up. He will look hot! This Thursday, August 12, will be the grand opening of raindance from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (of course we're opening all day, as well). Gilbert Cellars and Kana Winery will be pouring along with Yakima Craft beer and appetizers by the new owner of Cafe Melange! With a purchase of over $150, you'll receive a free wine tasting for two at Kana Winery. Come by and enjoy! You'll like our new baby....

I have neglected this blog for a long time. I hesitated to belabor the fact that for the last 6 months I have been waiting for the railroad to make its final okay on the additional space that is raindance. My slated day for real opening is July 9. Hooray! We're in the final stages of painting, cleaning and decorating. Please come in and see what we're doing. My husband's 15 foot tall totem pole should be up this Tuesday. It's gorgeous! For now, we've squeezed a lot of stuff onto a rack in Garden Dance...
Garden Dance, as usual, is hopping. Stop in to see the new Eileen Fisher (massive), cute summer dresses and tees and the big new summer sale rack!

Wellness House Fashion Show

Despite pretty poor attendance (lots of things going on in town, beautiful weather), the fashion show Garden Dance put on for Wellness House was a huge success. It was lunch at the Greystone, fun conversation and the Garden Dancers in fine form! The clothes looked great and business across the street was brisk!

Spring's Sprung!

Finally! It's Spring outside and Garden Dance is springing into action! The store is filled with new warm weather clothes, shoes, and accessories and now, we're getting into the new venture, raindance--fashion for men. Expect to see that store opening in the next month. It will be just behind Garden Dance, you can access it through the women's store, but will have an outside entrance off of Front Street. We're getting some of the men's things in, so stop in to see how it's shaping up!I won't tell you what raindance will be like--it's a surprise. Come on in. We've been blowing out the new Eileen Fisher and the new Lauren Vidal, they are both beautiful! Finally, let me tell you that next Saturday, May 15, at The Greystone, we'll be doing another fashion show. Just call them for a reservation at 509.248.9801. It's a lunch thing, no cost other than lunch (okay, maybe a lemon drop...) We'll be showing off Spring dresses, capris and tees, everything you need for warm weather and special occasions. And it's for a good cause! 10% of any sales will go to Wellness House. Plan to join us!
